Here we removed a dated and rotten landing and set of wooden steps. The new steps tie nicely into the paver driveway and walkway and are beautifully finished with bullnose edges. The homeowners were pleased with the curb appeal we created by removing the old wood and concrete.
Over the years, this patio’s bricks had shifted, making its surface uneven and dangerous. We re-graded the entire area, installed drainage to resolve water-related issues, and replaced the bricks. The new, cobble-style pavers in colors of charcoal, terra cotta, red and gold blend in nicely with the original adobe building’s clay tiles, creating a welcoming space to enjoy the culinary delights at this popular Sonoma resort.

The parking area in front of this beautiful Tuscan-style home was originally gravel, which, while more attractive than a concrete pad, ultimately proved to be too high-maintenance and a drainage nightmare. The Legacy Paver Group was hired to design a space that would complement the home and construct a drainage system to address the water issues.
Hayley worked with the homeowners on the paver selection—a rich blend of Tuscan colors and varying sizes. The team installed a drainage system to capture the water and send it into the surrounding planters.
The roof deck at the AT&T Campus in San Ramon is a popular area for employees and guests to hold meetings, get coffee and eat lunch. The space was covered in mortar-set stones, and over time the joints became loose and caused water issues for the office spaces below. As part of the waterproofing repair, the engineers decided that a sand-set solution would be better for future maintenance of the waterproofing underneath.
The Legacy Paver Group removed all the existing bricks and stones, then returned to install the pavers after the new waterproofing had been installed and tested. The biggest challenge here was getting all the materials up to the second and third stories, all while being careful not to disturb the beloved geese who live in the gardens all around the campus.
